About the VAS project
Target of the VAS project is to be a permanently growing set of tools for virtual flight simulation.
Currently there’s only one tool named vasFMC which enables nonRNAV equipped aircraft to fly RNAV routes and procedures. Find more information about vasFMC by clicking the link in the navigation on top of every page.
The people are currently spending their spare time for the project are:
- Martin Böhme from Lübeck/Germany. Martin is doing a vasFMC gauge version.
- Jerome Colombie, from Zurich/Switzerland. Jerome implemented some FMC features.
- Uwe Buchholz from Hamburg/Germany. Uwe takes care of the VNAV and peformance calculations.
- Jörg Hermann from Nauheim/Germany. Jörg will port our stuff to Linux and Mac and X-Plane.
- Philipp Münzel from Hohenstein/Germany. Philipp will port our stuff to Linux and Mac and X-Plane.
- Alex Wemmer from Graz/Austria. Founder of VAS and main developer.
If you think you could spend any of your knowledge to help us improve the tools or develop even more of them, just let us know. You may contact us via contact {ät} vas-project.org
